Prairie Rose State Park

Prairie Rose State Park has seven miles of trails winding through a sparse forest and around a shimmering 218-acre lake. Fishing

The park features two boat ramps, as well as several jetties for those who prefer to remain on land. The large lake is filled with bass, catfish and crappie. On-site cleaning stations are available, and picnic benches with nearby grills allow visitors to prepare their catch for an enjoyable meal by the shores of the lake.
Camping
Prairie Rose State Park has several cabins available for rent for guests who prefer not to pitch a tent. These rooms can comfortably fit up to seven people, and they are equipped with electricity, running water, air conditioning and heat, a refrigerator and beds. For those who prefer to rough it, there are outdoor campsites outfitted with electric outlets and water hookups.
